ABOUT WCLF:
Our facility is a prime location for lesser-advantaged children. It is very
uplifting to see these children reading a book, participating in the children’s
hour, or using a computer.
With the Foundation providing a contribution, our public library hopes to secure
a calendar
of events including lecturers, children’s programs, traveling exhibits,
art exhibits, theatrical performances, small scale musicals, well-known authors
and film/lecture series by humanities scholars and others.
Our goal is to enrich, not replace, traditional tax-based support for
the library through gifts, grants and bequests from individuals and
organizations.
